Why this site exists
Search for "carry-on bag" and you get thousands of results that all claim to be "cabin approved". Approved by whom? Australian airlines publish different limits, change them every year or two, and enforce them differently at the gate. Virgin Australia moved to 8 kg in 2026; Jetstar still shares 7 kg across two items; a Rex Saab 340 has bins that a 55 cm spinner simply will not enter.
Womiw does one job: it takes the bags and travel gear people actually buy on Amazon.com and checks them against the sizes airlines publish. If a bag does not fit, it does not appear on that airline's list.
How we work
- Airline rules come only from each airline's own website and are re-checked regularly. Every page shows the month we last confirmed them.
- Product data (name, dimensions, price, rating) comes from the Amazon.com listing. We prefer the manufacturer's overall size including wheels and handles.
- Rankings are set by star rating and number of ratings. Nobody can pay to appear or to move up.
- Mistakes happen. If you spot an outdated rule or a wrong size, tell us and we will fix it, usually within a few days.
How we are funded
Some product links are Amazon affiliate links. When you buy through them, Amazon may pay us a commission. You pay the same price. We do not sell products, take payments or store card details: every purchase happens on Amazon. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
